stolen poetry

I have created this account to track down a poem thief and get my poem removed from her account. The poem Echoes From The Crypt was posted by this thief one week after I wrote it and posted it on my account on Poems and Quotes.com. After searching a few lines from my many poems I have found so many of my works taken and posted on other peoples accounts. These plaigerers are spread the world over....and not only my poems, but many of the writers on P&Q have their work taken. These blantant liars go so far as to make up circumstances under which "their" poem was written , and accept and acknowledge compliments and praise from fellow artists.....how anyone can feel good about stealing, posting and relishing in someonelse's glory is beyond me....

Little do they realize they are in violation of copyright laws and could be pursued in court for damages....

For some time now, I have been posting poetry for a friend of mine on deviantart. I have known this individual for years, so when she asked me to post these poems online for her (because she was too afraid of others criticisms) I had no reason to question her on it. She also didn't have a regular source of internet.

Apparently I should have questioned her more, but I trusted her.

For the record, I never knew those poems were fake. My friend (who's name I'm not about to mention, because I don't feel she needs to be brutally harassed the way I have) sent me the poems in emails along with the description she wanted to accompany it.

I suppose you could say I'm leaving deviantart because of you, but that would be giving yourself too much credit. I have been contemplating this for some time now.

I am sorry you feel that I've lied to you. In all honesty, I feel just as much lied to. If I ever wished to return to deviantart, my name is slandered on this forum.

I hope that is enough of an explanation for you. I'm not this horrid bitch of a person you perceive me to be.

Well Christine, That's some tale....no, I don't buy a word of it! If your name has been defamed, it's all on you. All I did , as well as the others you stole poetry from, was to write poetry from the heart and share it with friends online....much like you did with your photos here.
Unfortunately...(and you aren't the only one)...that opens us up to a world of unscrupulous people that pick and choose "their" poems to claim as theirs in various ways. How you, as an artist, could practice this deception is beyond me ...but yes Christine...your name is mud on this site....and you need to only look within yourself to figure it out. I think you need to post an apology on your main page to all your friends that believed in you....

Christine, nice try but that's the biggest load of bull Ive heard in a long time, what do you take us for? kids? stupid people? I dont think so somehow, we know it was you who was taking our work, you even made up stories in the about poem part, as well as taking all the praises in the comments, take MY poem for example, you may know it as "My Last Goodbye" YOU said you wrote that poem when you was 13 in dedication to you nana, when infact you very well didn't I wrote that on poems and quotes.com for a sad/depression contest, you see Christine, you made up that you wrote it for you nana and never shared it with anyone, then you proceeded to take credit for the poem AND acnoweleging the condolences they gave you towards your so called dead nan.

I'm sorry, but your a blatant liar and your name maybe tarnished now but you only have yourself to blame, NO WAY! in hell are we going to accept that story. even though its the only one we'll get and the poems have been removed im gonna drop this now.

but I'm watching.

Today is Thanksgiving Day here.....so much to be thankful for....and I do count my blessings....not meaning to be flippant....but I am thankful to have found the thief Christine and seem to be having success in getting her and her thievery removed from Deviantart!

Oh please yourself butterfly, I should expect you'd care too if your work was being stolen by someone else and you found out they were making story's up about how they wrote it and what they were going through at the time...im sorry but it takes a serious weirdo to do something like that...but if you dont care then that may suggest no one really reads your poetry???

as much a friend she was to any of these people on here at least one thing IS clear, you can now all see her for what she is.

check out the links in the message below I posted for Blue Veins...proof has been sent to the admin of this site!....your friend is a thief! and Dead Soul is also one she has ripped off!!!!....not very nice when it is one of your pieces!
